Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff. Rich breakfast buffet, and also the dinner menu ist very tasty. A bit strange: The hotel owner has her reserved seat right next to the door to the outdoor breakfast - seating area and reprimands the staff audibly even for customers.

Hotel lacks of those amenities you would expect for a large structure like this one, ie: pool, fitness center… The location is great and the beautiful structure is second to none however something is missing… and not sure charging for “beach” access is working either as hotel guests find easily alternatives in town. Owners should could make much better use of the stunning buildings and location.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and nice. What ruined it for us is that the management/owners are nuts. They threatened to kick us out on the first evening, essentially because we failed to bring by our son‘s passport immediately at arrival, to have it scanned. We got the letter attached to the post. When I complained that this is not how I expect to be treated in a hotel the person I spoke to essentially said I have to leave the hotel. Fortunately the next day she calmed down a bit and we didn’t have to leave in the end. Still, made us feel extremely uncomfortable.

Super charming hotel in Sestri. Amazing location and site, a huge castle overlooking the sea. Rooms are great, although a bit dated but still great value. The hotel beach (25e per mattress extra) is also amazing. Breakfast is nice too. Overall a great spot

We had a brief but memorable stay at GHdC. Everything about the grounds and castle itself was immaculate - well kept and manicured. Service was warm and personal. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, complemented by breath taking views of the water. Would, and will, come back to this ever so romantic place again.

This place is magical. We got a huge room with views of the city and our own large outdoor space. The best memory from this hotel is finding the elevator that takes you through the rock down to the swimming bay below. We still talk about our slow afternoons with wine and appetizers in the garden.

Incredible property and location. Very helpful staff. The bar is amazing - sit outside and enjoy a wonderfully crafted cocktail. Beds could be more comfortable, but overall a great locations and we would happily stay here gain.

Superb location with a park on a hill dominating the sea, yet very close to the town. Good restaurant. Rooms are comfortable. The park is a pleasure to walk in. They even have one of the locations that Marconi used for his early radio experiments.
